Pontblanc was born from a strong conviction: there is a better way to do private real estate.
I created this company out of frustration with how the traditional real estate industry treats architecture as just another short-term product to sell.
Most real estate agencies are built around one objective: maximising the number of transactions.
That objective shapes everything: how they recruit, how they compensate their people, how they market properties, and ultimately, how they serve their clients.
To generate more transactions, they need more agents. To support a large workforce without substantial fixed costs, they rely heavily on commission-based compensation.
This creates a fundamental misalignment of interests.
Agents are incentivized to close deals rather than help their clients make the best decisions. The system rewards activity over criteria, visibility over substance, and haste over quality. A few excellent professionals operate within this model. The problem is that their business model rewards transactions rather than the quality of their advice.
The result is an industry generating enormous amounts of noise, competing for attention and pushing as many potential buyers as possible through a sales funnel.
And commercially, to some extent, it works. It is profitable.
But I believe there is a better way.
Pontblanc was built on the opposite philosophy.
